The Lido Conchiglie (frazione of the Comune of Sannicola) is a small seaside resort that overlooks the The Ionian Sea and is 6 miles from Gallipoli and 30 miles from Lecce.
This small seaside resort is located at the foot of a rocky area, an area composed mostly of pine trees, known as Pineta del Golfo delle Conchiglie. Its coast stretches for about 2 km and alternates sandy stretches to Rocky sections, the sea is crystal clear and during the afternoons of summer many tourists spending holidays in Salento reach the coastline to admire the sunset.
